Note about plants used as cures for ailments in Uist [Uibhist] including 'An LeĆ²dan', which is found in lakes, is brought home in its own water, boiled, dried and used for 'coilleasaichean' and 'Na Ruiceaidean', which are lumps 'the size of the pipits egg' growing on the lower rib.
